We show the watch as it is developed: the working prototype, the separate dial and the calibre on which the first edition is built.
The story behind Wizer
In development
The light hour markers, dark ground and two-colour minute track are being assessed under changing light for contrast and legibility. The final execution follows only after this test phase.
Design detail · provenance
The red and blue on the minute track are drawn from the flags of the Netherlands and Friesland. The dial therefore refers both to the country and to Leeuwarden, where Wizer 01 is developed.

The workbench reveals what a render cannot: how the steel bracelet meets the case, how the profile sits on the wrist and how its colours respond to natural light.

A mechanical watch should not be judged from a render alone. Wizer therefore shows what is actually on the workbench, which decisions are already visible and which information only becomes final after the prototype phase.
The watch shown is a physical piece in which the case, steel bracelet, dial and automatic movement function together. This allows the design to be assessed for more than appearance. The bracelet connection, case profile and dial legibility can be studied in real light and from several angles. A prototype is both evidence and a test instrument: it shows the current direction without pretending that every detail is already final.
Wizer 01 uses a mechanical automatic movement with 24 synthetic jewel bearings. As the watch is worn, a rotor moves with the wrist and transfers that motion to the mainspring. The jewels support important pivot points and reduce friction in those locations. This engineering is not a hidden footnote, but part of the product itself. That is why we show both the complete watch and the movement being evaluated during the prototype phase.
The current Wizer 01 combines a dark dial with light hour markers, a red and blue minute track and a steel bracelet. In Leeuwarden, the proportions between those elements are being examined: how much space the dial needs, how the markers contrast under changing light and how the case and bracelet read as one object. Every photograph on this page shows the existing prototype rather than an imagined final product.
Wizer 01 is developed by a small team, so the first production run is highly limited. The retail price is set at €499. Your registration gives you the final execution and full specifications as soon as they are ready. Nothing is reserved and no payment follows. Only then can you indicate whether you are interested in purchasing; the first production run is allocated separately.

Your wrist movement winds the mechanical calibre while you wear it. The rotor transfers that motion to the mainspring. Its 24 synthetic jewel bearings reduce friction at important pivot points.
